Overview
An Instrument is a transaction that is registered on a Title by Land Registry. Examples of Instruments are Transfers, Mortgages, Caveats, Covenants, Plans of Subdivision, and so on. These documents are lodged at Land Registry as Dealings, and they become Instruments once registered. This search is commonly undertaken to discover the new Titles issued for each lot once a Plan of Subdivision has been registered.
