Overview
A VIC Title Diagram is an image of a Title (usually an old title or crown title) which includes a diagram that details the boundaries and other details of a parcel of land. Used when the Title has been automated but an imaged survey Plan (VIC Copy of Plan) is unavailable.
Who Is It For?
Land information is available for anybody conducting land investigations and/or conveyancing.
What Do You Get Out Of It?
Where available, a VIC Title Diagram search will return an image of a Title that shows the boundaries and other details about a land parcel. Please note that these imaged Titles are not current and usually contain a watermark to advise that they have not been edited since the Title was automated. A Title Diagram may be useful to somebody interested in researching the history of their house or researching their family tree.
The Application Process
You must enter the relevant Title Reference (Volume and Folio numbers) when searching for a Title Diagram. If you don't have the Title Reference, you can conduct a Land Index Search to obtain it (separate charges will apply). Results are usually delivered instantly.
