An Instrument is a document that has been lodged and registered at Land Registry and appears on a Title Search (Register Search Statement) such as a Transfer, Mortgage, Caveat, Covenant, Plan of Subdivision, and so on. Documents that are lodged as Dealings become Instruments when registered on a Title.

The Application Process
The relevant Instrument number is required for this search. This is a unique identifier of up to 10 characters, with a 1-2 letter prefix, up to 6 numbers, and often ending in a one letter suffix. eg. AH123456M, PS303000N. Results are usually delivered instantly.
