QLD | How does this information differ from an Imaged or Automated Title?
In 1994 the Land Titles Act established the ATS. The process of imaging all Queensland titles began, with the most recent information for each title being captured and transferred to the new system. From this point on, the images have not been updated. Therefore, an Imaged Title is a 'snapshot' of the title as it was in 1994/1995. The ATS is updated as required. An Automated Title is an extract from the ATS showing the current information for a title at the time of your request. Clearly, an imaged title and its automated version will become increasingly different over time. A Historical Title lists the modifications to the title so that these changes can be easily tracked.
