Overview
A Water Access Licence (WAL) provides access rights to the holder to obtain water from a specific source. The Historical WAL Search lists transfers of licencee, mortgages, charges, caveats and related transactions.
Who Is It For?
Land information is available for anybody conducting land investigations and/or conveyancing.
What Do You Get Out Of It?
An Historical WAL search lists the history of transactions on an electronic Water Access Licence, such as changes of licencee, mortgages, charges, caveats, and other related transactions. This search finds information on WALs since they were integrated into the computer folios on 1 July 2004.
The Application Process
Enter the Water Access Licence reference, which is the unique number assigned by the NSW Water Registry. A Water Access Licence number begins with "WAL", followed by a combination of 1 to 8 digits. Results are usually delivered instantly.
