Overview
A Certificate of Title is issued for each parcel of land as proof of ownership. An Historical Title Search lists the history of an electronic Title.
Who Is It For?
Land information is available for anybody conducting land investigations and/or conveyancing.
What Do You Get Out Of It?
An Historical Title search lists the history of transactions on an electronic Folio/Title, such as changes of ownership, mortgages, caveats, charges and other transactions. Please note the Historical Search finds electronic Titles dating back to 1986, with information before that found on manual Titles. An Historical Title search can be invaluable to somebody interested in researching the history of their house or researching their family tree.
The Application Process
Enter the Title reference which is a unique number assigned by the NSW Registry. A Title reference can be either a lot/section/plan or a volume-folio number. Results are usually delivered instantly.
