Overview
An Information Brokers helicopter report is a vital tool to ensure any helicopter you are planning to buy – especially via a private sale – is safe and legitimate. A helicopter with structural damage or finance owing could cost you much more in the long-term.
A report uncovers any potentially withheld information that could compromise the helicopter's value and safety. For a small fee, a helicopter report allows you to compare the information a seller is providing with the official information provided by government databases.
Who Is It For?
A helicopter report is a must have document for everybody buying a helicopter, to ensure it is safe and worth the sale price.
What Do You Get?
The information contained within a helicopter report includes:
- General Specifications: make and model, year of manufacture, colour.
- Helicopter Investigations: registration status (current, suspended, expired, cancelled), any finances owing (e.g debt, leases), written off status and stolen status.
The Application Process
The PPSR regulations dictate that aircraft including helicopters, airframes, aircraft engine and small aircraft (defined as any machine or craft that can travel in the air and has a nationality and registration mark assigned to it pursuant to the Chicago Convention) must be described by a serial number (i.e manufacturer number).
To process the order, you must enter a manufacturer number, which is located on the helicopter and should be provided by the seller. If the manufacturer number provided is false, you will receive a report for a different helicopter, or the order will fail to process, helping you catch out untruthful sellers.
A helicopter report will take an hour to process during business hours.
