A Company Report is a document containing the current or historical (see below) details of a company as lodged with ASIC.

What Do You Get Out Of It?
A Company Report is available in two forms:
Current Extract: A current company extract provides the most recent company details lodged with ASIC at the time of ordering the extract, including the following categories of information where applicable:
- Current key personnel and office holder details, including directors, secretaries, liquidators and administrators
- Current key location details, including registered office addresses, current principal place of business and residential addresses
- Current share details, including the top 20 shareholders and details of shareholdings (excluding public companies*)
- Current registered charges lodged against the company
- Document details on all forms lodged with ASIC
- Current key dates, including appointment dates and personnel birth details
- Financial details such as issued capital and insolvency notices
Current and Historical Extract: The Current and Historical extract provides the same content as the current extract, as well as previous changes and historical data from the company in the past.
*While an organisation report reveals basic share information and share structure, public companies' shareholder and member information is not provided by ASIC and is only accessible by directly contacting the company and making a formal request.
The Application Process
Begin the process by requesting either a 'current' or 'current and historical' extract. Then, enter either the company name or company identifier (such as Australian Business Number (ABN) or Australian Company Number (ACN) to conduct the search. The extract should be delivered within one business day.
