Our NSW Historical Investigations & Title Searching service has been developed by our team of experienced Land Title searchers to assist you in your historical research into NSW properties, and Titles. You just tell us what you're looking for, and we do the work for you.
Our NSW HITS service will provide you with historical Title searches, and copies of the original paper Certificates of Title, which will give you a full history of all the owners since that particular Title was created, and usually including diagram of the parcel of land from that period.
The HITS service also provides you with copies of certain original Documents that have been registered on a Title. (These Documents may also be known as "Dealings" or "Instruments".) Not all Documents will be imaged, however the most commonly desired Document, being a Transfer of Land, should be readily available. Old Transfers provide a wealth of historical information, such as: Transferors' names, Transferees' names & addresses, signatures of all the parties & witnesses, signing date, and consideration amount (ie the price paid for a property). This information can be invaluable to somebody who is investigating the history of a property or Title.
